Frequently Asked Questions

1. How will you acknowledge my order?
An email acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you almost immediately after you place your order. This will confirm to you the details of what you have bought, the address or addresses to which the subscription will be sent, your subscriber number and details of when the subscription will start and end.
2. If I'm giving a gift subscription, do you send anything to the recipient?
Yes, if you have the email address of the recipient you can send an electronic gift card either immediately or on the date of your choice when you place the order. There will be a ‘Send an ECard' icon for you to choose this option and add a personal message.
3. What is the price in my local currency?
Prices will be converted by your Credit Card company at the current rate of exchange. This rate will fluctuate.
4. How secure are my credit card details?
All the information you provide is encrypted (scrambled) using the industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology so that when you submit the order from the online form to our computer, nothing can be read as it travels down the secure line. Your details are then applied to our subscription system, which resides in a completely separate, unlinked area away from our internet pages.
5. How do I renew the subscription?

Previously paid by credit card/cheque:

Whether you are taking out a subscription for yourself or as a gift, we will send you a reminder before the end of the subscription. Nothing will be sent to the recipient unless the subscription expires. You can renew by clicking on the "Your Subscription" button in the right hand side of the navigation bar and then selecting "Renew your subscription" - you will also need your subscription reference number. Alternatively return the renewal form you receive with payment or call our Credit Card hotline on UK – 01858 438846, International - +44 (0) 1858 438846.

Previously paid by Direct Debit:

You do not need to renew your subscription as your contract is ongoing and will automatically be updated until you cancel it with ourselves and your bank. This is a great way to ensure an uninterrupted service.

6. What if an issue doesn't arrive?
Simply click on the "Your Subscription" button in the right hand side of the navigation bar and then select "View your subscription status" - you will need your subscription reference number. Alternatively, contact one of our Customer Services team on +44 (0) 1858 438846 or email subscribe2@subscription.co.uk and they will check we have your correct address details and arrange for a replacement copy to be sent to you.
7. What if a magazine arrives damaged?
You can replace your issue by clicking on the "Your Subscription" button in the right hand side of the navigation bar and selecting "View your subscription status". Alternatively, contact one of our Customer Services team on +44 (0) 1858 438846 or email subscribe2@subscription.co.uk and they will arrange for a replacement copy to be sent to you.
8. How long does it take for magazines to arrive outside the United Kingdom?
Speed of delivery to subscribers outside the UK obviously depends on the quality of service provided by the various organisations along the way. The following airmail delivery times should be calculated from the date the magazine is published and are approximate: Europe – 3/5 days. Middle East/Africa/Asia/North and South America – 6/10 days. Asia-Pacific/Australasia – 11/15 days.
9. How do I change my address?

There are several ways you can do this:

10. How can I find my subscriber number?
Your subscriber number is the 10-digit number (e.g. 0000012345) that can be found on your order confirmation email. The number is also printed on the address label of your magazine wrapper. If you have any problems finding or using this number, please email our Customer Service team at: subscribe2@subscription.co.uk
11. How can I cancel my subscription?

Credit Card/Cheque Orders:

There is no need to do anything, as your subscription will automatically terminate at the end of the subscription term (usually 12 or 24 issues depending on the offer you subscribed to, or 50 issues for Inside Soap).

Direct Debit Orders:

The minimum subscription term for Direct Debit orders is 12 issues for monthly titles and 50 issues for Inside Soap. If you would like to cancel your subscription after your first 12 issues (50 issues for Inside Soap) you must contact our customer service centre, on +44 (0)1858-438846 no less than 28 days before your last issue is received, otherwise your subscription will continue until you advise us to stop.
